sitting in a holiday inn waiting for the highway to reopen. we might not make it to minneapolis by saturday. it's still snowing outside, over 10 inches last night. luckily we were able to walk over to chili's last night before they closed. it was our first meal since we had left chico, and i didn't realize how good chili's is after living off rations found in truck stops for only a day. all i wanted to do for lunch today was walk down to caffe malvina for coffee and pizza (i also kind of fancy one of the waitresses.) i'm really grateful for getting to do this and for everyone's support. it is kind of hard to get motivated still... i left my heart at home.
